Federico Zuccari (born in Sant'Angelo in Vado, Marches, in 1539 or 1543; died in Ancona in 1609): younger brother of Taddeo Zuccari, with whom he worked after his training (beginning in 1550 in Rome); independent from roughly 1560; 1563-1565 in Venice, later in Florence (cupola of the cathedral), Rome, Venice (1582) and Turin, as well as in Spain and England; influential artist and theoretician.
