Biography

School years and metalworking training in Höchst. 1896-1905 studies at the school of applied arts, the Kunstgewerbeschule, and the Städel School, Frankfurt am Main. 1906-1910 attends the Heymann School, Munich. 1910-1912 art school in Karlsruhe. Study sojourns in Italy, Tirol, Switzerland, and France. From 1912 again living in Höchst with an atelier in Frankfurt am Main.
